AUDI has officially unveiled the all-new E7X electric SUV on the SAIC-Audi joint venture's official app and website. This is the second model from the AUDI brand under the SAIC-Audi joint venture, following the E5 Sportback, and is currently exclusive to the Chinese market.

The new 2026 AUDI E7X was first introduced as a concept car called the AUDI E SUV in November 2025. The production version quickly appeared in registration documents the following month. The vehicle has dimensions of 5,049 x 1,997 x 1,710 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,060 mm.

The car has a choice of 21-inch or 22-inch wheels. Similar to its sibling, the E5 Sportback, the AUDI E7X also adopts a minimalist and sleek design style to optimize aerodynamics and improve driving range after charging.

The E7X is equipped with vertically positioned, high-resolution DLP digital LED headlights with millions of pixels, and LED daytime running lights that wrap around the closed grille, creating a ring light effect. Additionally, there's an illuminated logo and LED identifying details with a dotted pattern.

On the sides, the car features digital cameras instead of traditional rearview mirrors and hidden door handles. The wheels are equipped with counterweights at the logo, ensuring the AUDI lettering always remains upright. The taillights are also designed similarly to the front lights to create a unified look for this luxury electric SUV.
The car's interior hasn't been revealed yet, but it's confirmed there will be at least one four-seat configuration. Based on its "sibling" E5 Sportback, the AUDI EX7 will likely also feature a 27-inch screen, AUDI Assistant virtual assistant, wood interior trim, dual wireless charging, ambient lighting, a fragrance diffuser, and hidden air vents...

The E7X uses an all-aluminum chassis with rear-wheel drive (RWD) or intelligent quattro all-wheel drive. The standard RWD version is equipped with one electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 300 kW (402 hp). The quattro version adds an electric motor on the front axle, for a total power of 500 kW (approximately 670 hp), allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.97 seconds. The top speed reaches 230 km/h.

All versions of the vehicle utilize a CATL battery with a capacity of 109 kWh, providing a driving range of 751 km according to CLTC standards. Additionally, the E7X is equipped with a standard 900V high-voltage architecture to shorten battery charging times.

Furthermore, the E7X also features a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, powered by Momenta's next-generation Flywheel model, providing features such as navigation-based autonomous driving assistance (NOA) for both highway and urban driving. The AUDI E7X is scheduled to officially debut at this year's Beijing Auto Show in April 2026.

The price of the all-electric AUDI E7X remains unknown, but it is predicted to be quite expensive. AUDI is a newly established brand that focuses entirely on electric vehicles. Launching in November 2024, this new brand does not use Audi's traditional "four rings" emblem.
