Among the five Vietnamese representatives participating in the " World's Best Tourist Village" award, Mang Den Treehouse attracted attention with its forest-themed resort model, featuring houses built on ancient tree trunks or tall wooden stilts, nestled beneath the lush green canopy.
This space offers visitors a unique experience where they can relax in the forest, immerse themselves in nature, and admire the scenery from above.
The houses are designed to create a connection with the natural environment, minimizing the feeling of separation between the building and the forest.
Many houses have been built, harmoniously blending with the greenery. Instead of cutting them down to make way for construction, Mang Den Treehouse has preserved them, with many trees "growing" right inside the houses, piercing through the roofs to reach towards the blue sky.
Besides the treehouse system, Mang Den Treehouse also develops many experiential activities such as zipline, skywalk through the forest canopy, trekking, cycling, camping, meditation, and reading.
These experiences are geared towards nature-loving travelers who want to find a peaceful retreat but still have opportunities for exploration .

According to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the model at Mang Den Treehouse demonstrates a combination of architectural creativity, relaxation, and nature experiences.
These houses, cleverly constructed amidst the lush green forest, create a unique tourism product in Mang Den.
Previously, on August 21, 2025, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province issued a decision recognizing Mang Den Treehouse as a tourist destination.
This tourist attraction is located at 1 Su Van Hanh Street, Mang Den Commune, Quang Ngai Province.
Being selected to participate in the "World's Best Tourist Village" award in 2026 is seen as an opportunity for Mang Den Treehouse to promote its green tourism model and nature-based experiences within the Mang Den National Tourist Area to domestic and international tourists.
Five Vietnamese representatives will participate in the "Best Tourist Village" award in 2026.
According to information from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, in 2026 Vietnam will have 5 representatives participating in the "Best Tourism Villages" award, including Lo Village (Dak Lak), Cat Cat Community Tourism Village (Lao Cai), Cam Thanh Bay Mau Coconut Forest (Da Nang), Mang Den Treehouse Tourist Destination (Quang Ngai) and Huu Lien Community Tourism Village (Lang Son).
This is an annual award from the United Nations Tourism Organization to honor rural destinations that have effectively developed tourism while preserving traditional culture, protecting the environment, promoting community values, and aiming for sustainable development.
The results are expected to be announced in Q4 2026.
