From a dilapidated road to a 600 billion VND project.
The Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, Phan Phong Phu, recently signed Decision No. 4717/QD-UBND approving the investment plan for the upgrading and expansion project of Provincial Road 558D. The Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Works has been assigned as the investor.
According to the Decision, the project has a total length of approximately 24.6km, with the starting point intersecting National Highway 1 at Km608+800 and the ending point intersecting National Highway 12A at the bypass section of Song Gianh Cement Factory (Km22+350). The route passes through the communes of Hoa Trach, Trung Thuan, and Tuyen Hoa.
