Maserati has just delivered a one-of-a-kind MC20 GT2 Stradale, custom-designed for a collector in Taiwan. The car was created by the Fuoriserie personalization division as a tribute to the legendary MC12 GT1 race car of the Vitaphone Racing team.
This special edition was developed in collaboration between the Fuoriserie department, the Centro Stile design center, and the engineering team in Modena.
The car's design is inspired by one of Maserati's most successful periods on the racetrack, when the MC12 GT1 won the 24 Hours of Spa endurance race three times in 2005, 2006, and 2008, and finished second twice in 2007 and 2009.
The most striking feature is the two-tone paint scheme combining Nero Essenza and Digital Mint in a matte finish, complemented by Giallo Avia Pervia yellow accents. This color scheme previously appeared on the MC20 Leggenda model launched in 2024, but this is the first time it has been applied to the GT2 Stradale.
Previously, Maserati also used a similar style on its MCXtrema track car at the 2025 Maserati Racing Series held in Spa-Francorchamps.
Besides the special paint job, the GT2 Stradale also features glossy carbon fiber aerodynamic details, anodized black center-locking wheels, and gold-colored brake calipers that match the exterior.
The interior features black Alcantara racing seats, a gold Maserati trident logo on the headrests, and four-point seatbelts from the Performance Plus package. Gold stitching is present on the steering wheel, dashboard, center console, and door panels. The car is also decorated with numerous carbon fiber details and a "Tribute to MC12" badge.
In terms of performance, the special edition retains the same configuration as the standard MC20 GT2 Stradale launched in August 2024. It uses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine, producing 631 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels.
