TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The next chapter in the story of Peter Parker and Michelle Jones (MJ) is coming soon to the big screen in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
As reported by People on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, local time, the film is scheduled to premiere in July 2026, according to Sony.
A trailer was also released in March 2026, giving viewers a glimpse of what to expect in the next chapter of the superhero’s adventures.
Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, has reportedly confirmed the release of the film’s fourth sequel in October 2024.
Furthermore, Marvel has also confirmed that the film will be set four years after the events of “No Way Home.”
The synopsis reveals that Peter is now an adult living alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of his loved ones.
“Fighting crime in a New York that no longer knows his name, he devotes himself entirely to protecting his city as a full-time Spider-Man, but as the demands on him increase, the pressure triggers a shocking physical evolution that threatens his very existence, even as a strange new crime pattern gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced,” the synopsis reads.
In the 2021 film, fans see Tom Holland return as Peter Parker and Zendaya as MJ in a world that knows his superhero identity.
Wanting to return to the way things were before everyone knew he was Spider-Man, Peter asks Doctor Strange—played by Benedict Cumberbatch—for help in changing the course of history.
Doctor Strange then casts a spell to erase everyone’s memories of Spider-Man and Peter Parker, giving him the chance to live the life of his choosing.
Set in London and scheduled for release in the summer of 2025, the film will once again feature Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Zendaya as MJ, while Jacob Batalon will reprise his role as Ned Leeds and Jon Favreau will return as Happy Hogan.
Newcomer actress Sadie Sink will also join the sequel, though the character she will portray has not yet been confirmed.
